Unsupported themes

With very few exceptions, all themes in the Shopify Theme Store work perfectly with UploadKit.

A very small number may not have full support for Shopify's "line item properties" feature, which is required in order to use custom fields and file uploads on Shopify. At the time of writing, these are:

• Blockshop by Troop Themes
• Beyond by Troop Themes
• Maker by Troop Themes
• Emerge by Troop Themes

When using these themes, you may find that custom fields and uploaded files are not added to the cart correctly. We don't yet have information on when these themes will be updated to support line item properties.

However, you can contact UploadKit support and we will add some custom code which patches the theme's add-to-cart call to add uploaded files to the cart when working with UploadKit fields.
